Metazachlor 500 G/L SC

Metazachlor 500 G/L SC is an amide selective pre-emergence herbicide. It inhibits the cell division of weed sprouts and roots (mainly blocking fatty acid and protein synthesis), prevents the growth of sensitive weed sprouts, and kills them before they emerge from the soil.

Metazachlor 500 G/L SC is suitable for rice (transplanted fields and direct-seeded fields), rapeseed, soybeans and other crops. It can effectively control annual grass weeds (such as barnyard grass, lycopodiella, crabgrass, foxtail grass, etc.) and some broad-leaved weeds (such as duckweed, knotweed, etc.), with a lasting effect of 30-50 days. It is especially effective against malignant barnyard grass in rice fields, but has poor effects on sedge weeds. When using it, the field should be kept moist or a 3-5 cm shallow water layer should be kept for 5-7 days to enhance the sealing effect.
